ABOUT ME

My name is Abi and my pronouns are she / her. I am a neurodivergent author, celebrant and artist...

I help neurodivergent people find their voice through writing

I write novels and create journals that spark joy and connection

My work ignites compassion, humour and love

I believe in equality and everyone's story being heard and celebrated

I'm a Geordie girl living by the sea in South Devon with my Turkish husband and two terrifying teens. My writing inspiration comes from scratching the surface of everyday life to find the underlying magic that connects us all. The fire beneath the frustration, the creativity beneath the boredom, the stillness beneath the chaos.

I got my autism diagnosis aged 46 and my ADHD diagnosis aged 47.

Having spent my whole life feeling the only way to truly express myself was through writing and painting, things started to fall into place. No wonder I'd awlays been such a proud and stubborn creator!

When I had babies, I suffered terribly with postnatal depression and discovered mindfulness as a way through it. It's now a way of life for me and I trained to teach mindfulness meditation with Bangor University.

I LOVE finding like-minded people and neuro-spicy friends over on my socials and in my exclusive email club. I'm also really proud to offer my FREE mini writing app, 'Your Body Knows Your Truth', which uses the power of writing to work through overwhelming moments.

I LOVE hearing from you!
